- Reports of missed household waste collection will be reviewed within 1 business day and resolved within 3 business days.
- Reports of garbage in parks will be reviewed within 2 days and resolved within 7 days.
- Reports of improper waste or recycling set outs at the curb will be reviewed in 2 business days and resolved within 7 days.

The City of Richmond Hill encourages residents to reduce the amount of waste they generate and to divert as much waste from landfill as possible. The City strives to work with the community and other key partners such as York Region to reduce the generation of solid waste and create a more sustainable environment.
